Dermal Fillers

Face and lip fillers (dermal fillers) are substances injected into your face. They fill lines and wrinkles and add volume to areas such as your lips, marionette lines  or nasolabial lines that run from your nose to mouth.

Fillers are not permanent. How long they last depends on things like the type of filler and where it's injected. They usually last between 6 and 18 months.

Most dermal fillers used in the UK contain a natural substance called hyaluronic acid.

The Procedure

The dermal filler products that we use at BX Aesthetics have been hand-picked and carefully selected on the basis of their safety record, extensive clinical testing and consistent, high-end results.

Currently, we use Juvederm™ and Revolax™, both of these products are crystal clear, and biodegradable gel-based on hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance that occurs in the human body; however if you have a favourite, just let us know prior.

The treatment itself is non-surgical and involves the injectable filler being applied to the lips to alter the shape, size, or plumpness, depending on the desired results

Numbing cream with Lidocaine is used in many of our treatments, to ensure as comfortable as possible experience.
